The International Chamber of Commerce developed a Global Roadmap for Green Economy, which is now moving into its implementation phase.
Martina Bianchini is Vice Chair of the ICC Environment and Energy Commission. She led the development of the Roadmap. A Full member of the CoR-EU, she is an independent advisor and facilitator, enhancing collaboration on the business government interface. She is former Vice President of EU Government Affairs & Public Policy for the Dow Chemical Company and Head of their EU Liaison Office in Brussels Belgium (2001-2013). In this capacity, she shaped EU and global industry advocacy strategies on priority policy areas across the value chain. As business and industry delegate to the EU, UN and OECD, she worked on creating enabling policy frameworks that foster innovation and competitiveness into the direction of sustainable development. She was actively involved in the UN CSD Process, the UNEP Governing Council and has attended the Johannesburg (Rio+10) and Rio Summits (Rio+20) in June 2012.
